Here I list some very influential people that are on my YouTube subscriptions list and are currently helping me heal. I have found that each coach has something different to offer, so there is not just one go-to person. By just watching their videos, all of the people listed here helped me in different ways, and helped me feel less alone on this (often difficult) road to recovery. Because I can’t afford in-person therapy, these NPD educated specialists have become my team of therapists. I know they will help you too!
SPARTAN LIFE COACH - RICHARD GRANNON
An essential resource to overcoming narcisstic abuse. He gets it. His direct and sometimes sarcastically humorous videos are refreshing and authentic. I cannot stress enough how beneficial his work is when beginning your journey to healing. If you can get his $99 “Big Pack Special Offer” of training and course work — it’s worth every penny and an extremely good deal. An excellent substitute if you can’t afford (or find) a local therapist that specializes in dealing with NPD abuse and CPTSD. Although as of late, Richard has moved on from combating the effects of narcissistic abuse to the effects of social media, he has a treasure trove of FREE videos and PAID courses that span his years coaching one on one. Please, please, please check him out!
Inner Integration - Meredith Miller
A gentle, soothing soul, but smart as a whip, she knows the narcissist backwards and forwards. I always find very specific topics that I need help with on her YouTube channel and her videos are well thought out, natural, and extremely knowledgable. One of my constant go-tos when I am in need for a targeted therapy session.
thriver tv - MELANIE Tonia Evans
Always positive, but still serious about recovery, Melanie is a reliably consistent coach and a survivor who has a ton of wisdom to share based on years of experience dealing with multiple narcissists in her own life, and helping to coach survivors. She will always hold a special place in my heart since she is the first person who introduced me to the word “narcissist”. Quick story: While searching for answers to all of this madness online, I found her podcast and decided to give it a listen. Wow, it blew my mind that she knew exactly what I had gone through, and I listened to them all over the next several weeks. It was my first time hearing of NPD, and I am grateful I searched and found answers. I still get help through her podcasts, courses and videos.
medcircle - Dr. Ramani Durvasula (better-known as Dr. Ramani)
Dr. Ramani explains the topics quickly and to the point, without a lot of hand-holding. But you can get a thorough run-down of the traits, red flags, and basic characteristics of NPDs in a condensed period of time. She is also useful in learning the distinctions and differences of each of the cluster B personalities when you are seeking to clarify.
Breakthrough Life Coach & Author - Lisa A. Romano
As a Certified Life Coach, mentor, and bestselling author, she can help you heal the unconscious, faulty childhood programming that is keeping you stuck. Lisa is approachable and extremely learned in the subject of narcissism and the affects it has on you during a marriage, since she was married to one for years.
ONE MOM’S BATTLE - TINA SWITHIN
The mission at One Mom’s Battle is to increase awareness of Cluster B personality disorders and their impact upon shared parenting in the Family Court System. Swimming along side narcissists, lawyers, and judges can be intimidating waters, so her advice was especially helpful when gearing up for mediation and various court dates.
Surviving Narcissism - Dr. Les Carter and Laura Charanza
Surviving Narcissism offers tutorials about living with a narcissist, and each video speaks directly to those who are trying to stay healthy as they contend with the narcissist's unhealthiness. They are thieves, trying to rob you of your Self. They explain how you can prevent the power-grabbing thief from overtaking your inner person. It’s like having a narcissism pow-wow with your Dad, he explains it rationally and without any panic. He almost makes it seems easy. I like to get his take on certain topics because he usually has a more basic approach to dealing with a narc, which can come in handy.
kristin walker - mental health radio news network
I love this channel, Kristin’s voice (and message) is soothing, like checking in with a good friend, and she is a great reminder of a survivor rising above and thriving! Keeping it real about mental health, mental illness, addiction recovery and the business of behavioral health. Her guests and listeners are from all over the globe and all walks of life. The signature show on Mental Health News Radio Network - the world's first podcast network dedicated to our favorite subject: Mental Health!
Michele Lee Nieves Coaching
Michele Lee Nieves has dedicated her life to helping victims of narcissistic abuse on their journey to escape, heal and fall madly in love with themselves and their life. Nobody understands what you're going through more than someone who has been there. She grew up with a narcissistic family member and had intimate relationships with malignant narcissists. She has quite a few videos that cover taking the narc to court, so I got a lot of tips from her on that subject alone.
The New Life Academy with Kim Saeed
Kim Saeed is an Empowerment Blogger, No Contact Coach, Relationship Coach, Self-Esteem Coach, Best-selling Author, Healing Facilitator, and Radio Guest Expert. Her areas of expertise include helping survivors of narcissistic and emotional abuse to detach and begin their journey of recovery through changing their limiting narrative scripts and learning holistic healing methods. She has inspired people world-wide by helping them leave their own unhealthy relationships, overcome their limiting beliefs, and empowering them to rise above their destructive patterns so they can live the joyful lives they deserve. She has lots of tips and suggestions covering no contact/low contact management.
abdul saad - VITAL MIND PSYCHOLOGY
Abdul Saad is a Clinical Psychologist based in Sydney, Australia. I learned some things from Abdul that I didn’t from other coaches because he has a much more clinical approach. I was fascinated how he described in detail the three distinct levels or stages of covert narcissism in this video, which was spot on! On his channel you will find videos discussing various topics relating to mental health, psychological development and lifestyle. His content is original, practical and no-nonsense. He’s an expert on human personality and his approach to helping people is integrative, combining mind and body based approaches.
ROSS ROSENBERG - Self-Love Recovery institute
Ross is the owner of Clinical Care Consultants, a Chicago area counseling center, and Self-Love Recovery Institute, a training/seminar and professional certification company. He is considered an international expert on narcissism, codependency, trauma and sex addiction.
Her clients go to her if they are in the process of getting divorced, are recently separated or have just ended a relationship. Every person that comes to me is at a different point in the healing journey. Some are just starting and are needing to truly heal. Others are ready to begin working on themselves and rebuild their self-confidence and self-esteem that they may have lost along the way. While others are beginning the Thriving Process. They are beginning to date, change careers or create their new life.
My mission is to help you to discover, understand and overcome the narcissistic abuse in your life, and to help you take your life from “just existing” to “really living.” I spend my days working to help people who have experienced the emotional and mental devastation that comes with narcissistic abuse in these incredibly toxic relationships to (re)discover their true selves, stop the gaslighting and manipulation and move forward into their genuine desires – into a life that is exactly what they choose for themselves. In short, I want to help you go from being a victim of narcissistic abuse to a survivor and a thriver.
